A Reference Of Female-Fronted Punk Rock: 1977-89 (Part 3/3)

Last but not least, here's the final part of the CD-R boxset (discs 9 to 12).
Check out the previous discs here: [ Part 1: discs 1 to 4 ] [ Part 2: discs 5 to 8 ]

[October 2013 update: to my greatest dismay, I couldn't fix discs 9, 10 and 11 — all of which have corrupted tracks. It looks like my copies of the CDRs are damaged as my computer won't extract those songs. My deepest apologies for this.]

Awesome tracklist. if you're taking suggestions for an addendum disk, check out The Chichlids and maybe The Heaters.

Awesome sets, just starting to listen to them, but tracks 12-14, 16-17, and 20 on disc 9 appear to be damaged. No metadata on them, can't edit the metadata, and most importantly, can't play them (in iTunes, at least)

Thank you, much enjoyed.

Hi Akerbeltz,

Thank you so much for the awesome music!

Will you still please re-upload an uncorrupted copy of Disc 9? Also I've noticed that track 19 on Disc 10, and track 16 on Disc 11 are corrupted.

Pretty please, with a safety pin stuck through it?

:&P

Yeah I know there are corrupt tracks on discs 9, 10 and 11. I'm really busy right now so PLEASE leave me a few days/weeks and I'll rip and re-up them all (I'll post a note when it's done). Thanks for your patience.

This is amazing! Thanks for sharing this.

Would like to reiterate that I'd love to get my hands on the uncorrupted tracks in this project. I know you're busy, but if you could re-upload them, this would be perfection.

This is amaaaaazing. I found it through a friend who found it through Slutist (http://slutist.com/a-reference-of-female-fronted-punk-rock-1977-89/). I've always been grateful to be part of a scene that had so many fucking amazing women.

FWIW, I have to make one correction to this list. On Disc 12, there's a song called "Moo" by the Hugh Beaumont Experience. I was the guitarist in HBE when that song was recorded, and there were never any women in our band.
